Bunton Level & My Charity Descent

Bunton [sometimes known as Bunting] level were part of the Old Gang lead mines complex on the east side of Gunnerside Gill. My Exploration was to be a very improtant one. with the help of Paul Dollery and my dad (both Highly Experienced UG collegues); i introduced a good friend of mine to the underground hobby. on top of this i was to decend via srt the sir george sump. i had been sponsored by help for heroes and i had raised £113 in anticipation for this. unfortunately i found mysely at the end of my 100 foot rope - i was at least another 60 feet short of the bottom and the most innaccessable mine in swale dale. i do plan to revisit this with Nick L next spring.

Although this level is extremely popular, it is suprisingly difficult to gain acces to data; and so for now i am short of info.
